We are proud to announce the appointment of Derya A. Briand as Director of Academic Studies within our education group. Mrs. Briand joins us with a distinguished record in international law, higher education management, and academic development, making her a vital addition to our leadership team.

Born in 1984, Mrs. Briand is a Swiss legal expert with a strong academic foundation and extensive international experience. She holds a Master of Law (MLaw) from the University of Lausanne (Université de Lausanne), awarded in 2011, specializing in International and Comparative Law. Prior to that, she completed a Master of Advanced Studies (LLM) in 2009, also from the University of Lausanne, focusing on International and European Economic and Commercial Law. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Cyprus.

Throughout her professional journey, Mrs. Briand has demonstrated outstanding commitment to academic excellence and international engagement. She has actively contributed to global educational initiatives and represented civil society at the United Nations, advocating for quality education and human rights. Her multilingual skills and global perspective align perfectly with the values and vision of our institution.

As Director of Academic Studies, Mrs. Briand will lead initiatives in academic quality assurance, curriculum development, faculty coordination, and strategic educational partnerships. Her appointment reflects our dedication to delivering education of the highest international standards.
