Here are some key points regarding thesis writing at Swiss International University:

Timeframe:

Flexibility: Students can complete their thesis within 4 months to 6 years.
Average Completion: Bachelor/Master students typically finish in 6-12 months, while Doctorate students usually take at least 2 years.

Thesis Requirements:

Quality Standards: We uphold strict standards, expecting thorough research and high-quality writing.
Bachelor Thesis: While not required for graduation, completing a thesis is highly recommended to enhance the academic experience.
Topic Selection: Students are encouraged to choose their own thesis topics, with guidance from lecturers and supervisors.

Defense:

Format Options: Students can defend their thesis either in Switzerland (recommended) or online via webinar.
Evaluation Committee: A committee of 2-5 members, including Academy team members or external experts, will evaluate the thesis defense.
Grading: Defense scores range from 0-100%, with a minimum average score of 40% required to pass.

Fees:

Defense Fees: On-campus defense costs 1900 Euro, while online defense is 390 Euro.
Appeals and Resubmissions: Additional fees apply for appeals and resubmissions, with rates varying based on the level of study (Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate).

Submission and Appeals:

Appeal Period: Students have 10 days to appeal their results after submission if dissatisfied.
Resubmissions: Students are allowed up to three submissions in case of failure, with applicable fees for each resubmission.

Printing Services:

Available Services: Printing services are available at the Academy.
Cost: The fee is 75 Euro for every 5000 words.
