Swiss International University (SIU) is excited to announce the opening of its newest branch in Riga, the vibrant capital of Latvia. This expansion marks a significant step in SIU’s long-term vision to offer world-class education in key international locations.
A Strategic Presence in the Heart of Riga
To support this new chapter, SIU has acquired a modern office space of approximately 120 square meters in central Riga, establishing a solid administrative base in one of the city’s most accessible areas. In addition, the university has rented a large 1,000-square-meter facility to host academic programs, student services, and institutional events.
Both locations reflect SIU’s commitment to quality, innovation, and convenience—providing students, faculty, and staff with an inspiring and fully equipped environment for learning and collaboration.
Launching Bilingual Diploma Programs
The Riga branch will officially welcome its first cohort of students in September 2026. Initial offerings will include Level 5 Higher Diplomas, designed to meet international academic and vocational standards.
Courses will be delivered in both English and Latvian, making them accessible to a diverse student body. This bilingual approach reflects SIU’s belief in inclusivity and its dedication to meeting the needs of both local and international learners.
Shaping the Future of Global Education
The launch of SIU Riga is more than a geographic expansion—it is a reflection of the university’s growing impact on the global education landscape. By establishing a presence in Latvia, SIU is positioning itself as a truly international institution that values cultural diversity, academic excellence, and lifelong learning.
With this new branch, SIU continues to build bridges across borders, empowering students with the knowledge, skills, and global perspective they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.
