ZURICH / DUBAI / BISHKEK / LUZERN / RIGA / LONDON – As London Tech Week 2025 launches new waves of technological innovation, the spotlight has turned to student- and university-led startups making tangible contributions to fields such as AI, health technology, and aerospace. In particular, six early-stage ventures, founded by young academics and researchers, made a strong impression at the Future Worlds Demo Day on June 10, showcasing how education and entrepreneurship go hand in hand.
This global trend deeply resonates with the mission of Swiss International University (SIU), where academic excellence is paired with real-world innovation. SIU’s international campuses across Zurich, Dubai, Bishkek, Luzern, Riga, and London are united by a commitment to nurturing multidisciplinary thinkers who can create tomorrow’s solutions today.

SIU’s Global Approach to Innovation
“Our students are globally minded and locally engaged,” says an SIU spokesperson. “What we are witnessing at London Tech Week is a validation of our strategy—fostering innovation across disciplines and geographies. Whether it’s AI in Zurich, digital health in Riga, or blockchain in Dubai, our students are encouraged to think beyond boundaries.”
The momentum of global education transforming into startup culture is growing—and SIU remains at the forefront by investing in student potential and providing a platform for ideas that can scale.
As we continue to support our learners in launching their own ventures, participating in global forums, and shaping the technologies of tomorrow, Swiss International University is proud to be a part of this worldwide movement—cultivating knowledge, leadership, and lasting impact.
