In support of Sustainable Development Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, Swiss International University is committed to providing free public access to open and green spaces—fostering healthier lifestyles, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
🌿 Bishkek Campus:
Our main campus in Bishkek proudly hosts several open recreational areas that are freely accessible to the public, including:
A football field and a tennis playground available for community use
A well-maintained public garden offering a peaceful space for relaxation, outdoor study, or social gatheringsThese spaces are designed to encourage active living, support youth engagement, and promote environmental care in an urban setting.
🌞 Dubai Campus:
Due to the region’s extreme climate conditions, outdoor green spaces are limited. However, our facilities in Dubai focus on indoor environmental quality and community-based cultural spaces, while encouraging partnerships with public parks and indoor recreational programs in the area.
🌄 Switzerland:
Switzerland is renowned for its naturally abundant green landscapes. Our Swiss campuses are located in areas surrounded by mountains, lakes, and forests, with students and visitors enjoying direct access to public walking trails, parks, and open countryside without restriction. These settings reflect our institution’s mission to integrate learning with sustainable interaction with nature.
By ensuring public access where possible and promoting responsible use of open areas, we aim to foster inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable environments that benefit both our academic community and the wider public.
