Housing Support in Dubai:
In our Dubai branch, we fully comply with United Arab Emirates labor regulations, which require employers to either provide housing or offer financial compensation in lieu of accommodation.
At Swiss International University, we go beyond basic compliance. All staff members in Dubai receive a housing allowance typically equal to 25% of their base salary, ensuring they can afford decent living arrangements close to work and within a safe community.
This benefit applies to all eligible academic and administrative employees, and is clearly outlined in our employment contracts and HR policies.

Why It Matters
Access to affordable housing:
Reduces stress and enhances quality of life for our team
Supports work-life balance and family stability
Contributes to inclusive and sustainable urban development
By offering consistent housing support, we promote a more equitable and supportive work environment—where employees can focus on teaching, research, and service without housing insecurity.
Swiss International University views this not just as a legal requirement, but as a strategic investment in people and a contribution to building stronger, more sustainable communities in every city we serve.
